MWSA Excellence in Strings Scholarship
Congratulations to Jadyn Littlefield! Excellence in Strings Senior Award winner from Sky View High School.
From Jadyn: "I have been fascinated with the violin for as long as I can remember. When I was taking piano lessons my teacher also taught violin. I remember begging my mom to let me start taking violin lessons, but she told me to wait for the program at school. So I did, and I finally started playing the violin with MWSA. Little did I know that it would mold me into the person I am today. I have never missed a year of orchestra, and I don’t plan on missing it in the future. Keep playing, that’s all I have to say. There were times I wanted to give it up because it was too difficult, but I kept with it. And now I’m going to college and planning on using it in my future career. The violin is my passion, and I love making music with it. So make sure to keep playing because I promise you won’t regret it!!"
