Instrument Information:

  1. Rent – *CACHE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT* Students can rent a violin, viola, cello, or bass from MWSA on registration nights.  Rentals are assigned on a first come first served basis.  Rent is $70 for the school year with an additional $50 deposit.

  2. Rent- *LOGAN CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT* Students who choose to play the violin or viola are responsible to purchase or rent their own instrument.  Students can rent a cello or bass from Logan City School District.  Rent is $60 for the school year.

  3. Purchase – Classical Strings (801-786-1605), The Book Table (435-752-3055), Southwest Strings (www.swstrings.com), KSM Music (435-753-6813), JK Stringz (435-757-3776) and Coda Strings (435-452-1049) all sell instruments.  If you take good care of the instrument, this is the best option, as you can usually sell your instrument later on for what you paid for it, minus the price for a new set of strings.  Please, DO NOT buy an instrument from E-bay or other online bidding sites.  These instruments are often poorly made and require a lot of work to even be playable.

*Orchestra classes will begin the week of September 20th.   We will be sending home another flyer at the beginning of the school year.  Please visit www.mountainweststrings.com or call 435-554-1021 for more information.
